The Culinary Association of Andhra Pradesh has been formed with the senior chefs and chef instructors of the state with a view to glorify the catering profession and contribute to the society in terms of propagating the wellness of food, good nutritional habits, usage of modern techniques and help the new generation of budding student chefs to get the right footage in the industry.
In the wake of the Tsunami disaster that rocked India, the association has come forward to present a mega charity dinner, the entire proceeds of which shall be given to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. We hope to rope in the hoi polloi and generous philanthropists of the city to participate in such a noble cause.
The charity dinner, CHEFS UNLIMITED, willl be held at WESLEY BOYS HOSTEL PLAYGROUND, Secunderabad on Saturday 26th February 2005 and shall comprise of 25/30 live food and beverage and associated stalls from all renowned hotels, catering institutes and catering establishments apart from a model product display cum exhibition by novel food and beverage related markets and manufacturers. For an optimum entry fee of Rs. 1500/- per couple, the event would also showcase live cooking demonstrations by eminent chefs, guest performance by foreign band, fashion show, 125 famous dishes, in-house DJ, 20 feet ice carving, high quality vegetable carving, etc. In other words, this purports to stand out as the single major culinary show of 2005 and a chance to eat out of the hands of celebrity chefs while you donate to a very noble cause.
