Calantha 2007, a fashion show being put together by the graduating students of the Hamstech Institute of Fashion & Interior Design, is being held on 25th February at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Hitex. Models from Bangalore and Mumbai will walk the ramp showcasing in-house designs and the creations of a few established designers too.
The show is a showcase of the creativity and technical expertise of the students, and aims to successfully launch these budding designers on national and international fashion scene. This eagerly awaited fashion fiesta will be choreographed by the renowned fashion guru Prasad Bidapa, who has been training Miss India competitors every year. Movie stars from the Tamil, Kannada and Telugu movie glitterati are expected to pep the venue up with their presence.
Awards and prizes will be given in various categories, like Most Wearable Collection, Economically Viable Collection, Most Glamourous Collection, Best Constructed Collection, Best Embellished Collection, Best Accessorized Collection, Jury Award for the Best Collection, Collection of the Year, and Student of the Year.
The Hamstech Institute of Fashion & Interior Design was established to offer quality instruction and training in the field of fashion and interior design.
