The Hyderabad Art Society is organising a painting exhibition at Taj Krishna, from 16th August to 19th August. The paintings will be on display from 11am to 8pm.
Blooming Colors is an exhibition of about 60 paintings made by 26 artists, who are members of the Hyderabad Art Society. Works of senior artists, including Thota Vaikuntam's, are also on display. The paintings are made mainly in oil, acrylic and water colors, with varied themes, among which are landscapes, kings (Shah Jahan, for example), rural women and alankarana.
Artists whose works are being exhibited are - Thora Vaikuntam, Rajeshwar Rao, Gauri Shankar, Yekka Yadgiri Rao, Anantiah, Ananta Ram Goud, Bala Bhakta Raju, Chandrakanth, Guduri Prabhakar Rao, Jayanth, Jayanna, Konduri Nageshwar Rao, Y Srinivas, Narendar Rai, Narahari, Nageshwar Rao, Narendernath, R C Sharma, R Subash Babu, Rohini Kumar, Stanley Suresh, Srikanth Kohli, S K Sarkar, Sripathy, Tuljanand Mallik, Vani Devi and Vijaya Shah.
The inauguration will be held on 16th August, by Aparna Reddy (daughter of Subbi Rami Reddy), at 10am.
