Meghana's footwork is right in step with the little hearts that need money to keep ticking. Here's a fund-raiser arangetram for kids with heart disease.
Meghana Vunnamadala from USA will be performing her Kuchipudi arangetram on the 27th of August, at the Ravindra Bharathi auditorium. The dance performance is being organised by the NGO "Hrudaya" and "Cure A Little Heart", a group of medical professionals, businessmen, donors and enthusiasts from India and the US.
Meghana, a 16-year old 10th grader of Deerfield Academy, Massachusetts, learned Kuchipudi from Chinta Sivaji Narayan during her summer vacations. She is performing her arangetram for a social cause, in an attempt to raise funds and fund heart surgeries to children.
Since heart surgeries for children continue to remain expensive, poor children find it unaffordable. Meghana wishes to perform many more such dance programs in an effort to contribute her bit for this cause.
