The Bangiya Sanskritik Sangha is holding a 2-day literary-cum-cultural conference where eminent writers and poets from West Bengal will take part. Union Minister for Communications Tapan Sikdar will inaugurate the conference. Retired Army Chief General Shankar Roy Choudhry and eminent Bengali writer Shirshendu Mukhopadhyaya will participate in the conference.
Sweety Baishya and group will present a dance ballet on the occasion at 7.00pm
on June 8, and the cultural activity on June 9 includes a play Ravivar
by Spandana. The literary conference will be divided into parts covering art,
science, poetry and prose.
