Aradhana Cultural Association, in association with Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha, is presenting the Akasavani and Television Awards for the year 2006, at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha, this Friday.
The evening starts with a Kuchipudi dance recital by N S L Praveena, and mythological drama padyams by Chandrateja, followed by the awards ceremony. The details of the recipients are as below:

Aradhana Gold Medal for the decade will be awarded to TV Anchor Jhansi.
The awards will be presented by the chief guest Krishnam Raju, renowned cine actor, and the felicitation of the awardees will be by the President of Dr Akkineni Nataka Kala Parishad, Saripally Kondala Rao. C Ramakrishna, Ex-General Manager of S C Railway, will light the inauguration lamp, and the mementos for the recipients will be given away by the Secretary and Correspondent of Bharatiya Educational Institutions.
