Hyderabad plays host to the dramatis personae of the art community, at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha.
Bharath Cultural Academy is organising the Adilabad art festival for artists from various genres like dance, drama, theater, music, hastha kala, shilpa kala and many more. The objective of this festival is to facilitate interaction between the various art forms, and between artists of Hyderabad and those from outside. About 1,000 artists are expected to attend the festival.
The festival is a 2-day event, and is being inaugurated by ex-chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Emminent personalities like lyric writer C Narayana Reddy, Telugu University vice-chancellor N Gopi, actor and politician Babu Mohan, T L Kanta Rao and Minister for Road and Transport Santosh Reddy are expected to be present at the festival.
The festival will also feature a music program by Kautali Naveen and Baby Rasignya of the Nirmal Kala Niketan, directed by the famous music director Nagaraju.
